here is how this works for me: ever since i got my driver's license 8 or so years ago in my 50s, and ever since just a few weeks after i got myself a metallic blue 4 wheel drive car to swish around in, i have taken my youngest son on a trip every sunday. when we started this habit -- which, by the way, quickly became an almost holy routine for him and a marker of his week and the passing of time -- yossi was 12 or 13 and now he is almost 21. And i am now in my 60s.
as i indicated i will give you random musings, share experiences and itineraries, and once i learn to put photos on my blog here, i will also give you pictures of these outings. some are prosaic, some are more exotic, even though this is a daring word to use for the less than exciting landscape that i traverse.
